Timing and Score Keeping

Timing and score keeping are the responsibility of the HOME team. Please ensure you are aware of the Score Sheet Procedure prior to the start of your game. NOTE:  Where any score sheet has a match penalty recorded on it, the appropriate Commissioner must be phoned within 24 hours.

Program Details

Year Born

  • 13 & 14 Year Old Boys and Girls (2003/2004 DOB)

  

Program

  • Individual skill development

  • Emphasis on understanding team play

  • Tactics of full Box play

  

Tournaments

  • Teams have the option to participate in out of town tournament play

  

Training Frequency

  • 2 - 60 minute practices/week

  • 12 league games - Bantam B

  • 8 league games - Bantam A

  

2016 Season

  • March 21 to June 19

  

Tiering

  • Tiering is in effect at this level

  • Players will be grouped based on skill levels and other applicable criteria to best compete in the associated League and Tournament play and offer all Bantam participants the ability to grow their individual and team skills within the game of Lacrosse

  • Player evaluations pre-season 

 

Capping

PMLA anticipates running 2 Bantam Teams of 13-15 players each.  

 

Travel Commitment

  • Travel throughout zone for league play (e.g., Kamloops, Merritt, Vernon, Salmon Arm, Kelowna)

  • Out of Town Tournament (if applicable)
