Field Lacrosse Camp with Darren Reisig

PMLA is offering a week-long, field lacrosse intensive with none other than, Darren Reisig, Head Lacrosse Instructor of Claremont Academy. Assisting Coach Reisig are former NCAA players than Reid Reinholdt and Vinny Ricci.
 

The week-long camp will run mornings from 9am-12pm | Monday, August 14th through Friday, August 18th, and is open to all players aged 13-18. The camp will be broken out by skill level. The camp is limited to 40 players.

 

About Coach Darren

Darren has taught and coached both high calibre field and box lacrosse programs for the last 24 years.


Head Coach and a founding coach of the highly successful Claremont Lacrosse Academy in Victoria, BC and co-director of BC’s Best, Masters of Education Coaching Certification Program. Since 2005 the Claremont Lacrosse Academy has won over 10 provincial championships, seven Space Needle Championships and are three-time winners of the Denver Shootout. Over 70 players from the Claremont program have been signed by NCAA Schools since the inception of this program.

Prior to starting his coaching career Darren had a highly successful playing career in both the box and on the field as well: a former WLA, NLL and Canadian National Team Field Lacrosse player.


About Reid and Vinny
Reid is a current NLL player who played field lacrosse for Limestone College (along with Adanac teammate Vinny Ricci) for the 2014 and 2015 NCAA Division 2 National Champion Saints. His career stats at Limestone included 54 goals and 62 assists for 116 points on 30% shooting. He was a member if the All-Conference Academic Teams in 2013, 2014 and 2015. In 2015, he was voted NCAA Lacrosse Team Captain for the 70-player squad; inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma Honors Society; named an NCAA Today’s Top 10 nominee; named a USILA Scholar All-American and an Elite 89 Award Finalist; named Men’s Lacrosse Scholar Athlete of the Year and was the Paul Casey Award Winner for leadership, enthusiasm and unselfish service, all while completing a Business Economics Degree.

Vinny completed his degree in English at Limestone College in South Carolina, serving as a team captain and helping lead the Saints to an outstanding 21-0 season until a heartbreaking loss in the USILA final in their quest for a third straight national championship. His career stats included 154 goals (5th all time for Limestone) and 187 points (11th all time), with accolades including team MVP in 2015, annual All-Conference and All-American status and, in his final season, being named a USILA Scholastic All Star team member and, for the second time, a USILA All Star
team member.
